Date:  8 December 2024 Game System:  Space Weirdos Players: Mus and Justin As the Arvus lighter was buffeted by the turbulent atmosphere during orbital entry, Inquisitor Bekir cursed his luck. Once a rising star within the Ordo Xenos of the Inquisition, he had the misfortune to tying his fortune to his former mentor, the now disgraced Inquisitor Thrax. As a result he had been all but banished to the outermost Eastern fringes chasing down supposed Xenos threats that inevitably turned out to be drunken stories blown out of proportion or pure fiction. This next "mission" had all the hallmarks of the latter. Orwhan IV was a semi-arid wasteland of a world, so utterly unremarkable in the broad view of the Imperium as a whole it rarely even appeared on official void maps. However, it had been rumoured that Xenos artifacts had been recovered from an archeological expedition and now the planet's communications with the broader Imperium had fallen silent. Introduction: The Approaching Tempest

 It is the 41st Millennium. It has been almost 250 years from what will become known as the First Tyrannic War. The devestation wrought by the extra-galactic xenos invasion on the Eastern fringe of the Imperium has long been repaired and largely forgotten, bar the occassional encounter deep void encounters with splinter fleets of the remnants of Hive Fleet Behemoth.  But the threat of the Tyranids is far from defeated. As the Imperium sleeps, Hive Fleet Kraken crosses the void between galaxies, aimed at the heart of the Imperium of Man.  This blog will capture various tabletop miniature wargames using various systems themed around the Second Tyrannic War.
